A little late....

So I am a little late posting on Thanksgiving... I'm throwing in a bunch of random pictures on this post. :) 

We had a great Thanksgiving... flew by, which seems like it always does around the holidays :) So many places to go, so little time! 

I LOVE crafts that Jake makes with his hand or foot prints, always a keepsake! :) So sweet

Finally we got to go out to the cabin and play... we had so much fun! :) 

We weren't prepared and didn't have a sled so we tried out a few different things LOL! This one was a no go.

4-Wheeler was fun

Josh finally made a good sled, it was AWESOME. A rope, some sort of grip thing, and an old wheel barrel ... redneck of the year goes to Josh, ha!

So after the winter storm hit, it has put me behind an entire WEEK! UGH! My finals were canceled over the weekend, so I worked instead to make some overtime :) So this week I've been trying to get ready for finals. I took one last night and will take one tomorrow and be DOOOONE until Jan! Then just 3 classes left after that. So ready. School = no life. 

I haven't done ANY Christmas shopping. Miserable. I've bought a few things but not done or ready one bit.

12 Weeks

I had my 12 week doctor appointment Tuesday and got to meet my new doctor. My sweet doctor isn't delivering babies anymore so he sent me to a new one. I was so nervous but after talking to him I was so very excited to start my second pregnancy with him as my doc ;) Dr. Laws is my new guy and I love him already! We had a lot in common ... mainly crappie fishing haha.. he told me I was a "good woman". 

Everything has been going great. No, I am not bragging because my very best friend is going on 23-24 weeks and still gets sick every single day and I feel so awful for her. I wish I could take some of that away for her. As far as going back to work full time, going to school, being a momma to Jake, and a wife and taking care of everything else in life, I'm thankful to God I am making it thus far. Josh would have to finish school for me if this wasn't the case :/ 

This pregnancy has been pretty close to my first one with Jake, a few different things.... I've been WAY more moody.. probably from the things I mentioned above, well I blame most of it on school. I've still been craving Mexican food like I did with Jake... lots of salty things. I crave chocolate every day of my life, pregnant or not. I've felt dizzy this pregnancy?!?! Is that even a symptom? lol! Could just be allergies. Another difference is, I've been eating oranges like crazy, my finger nails are orange from peeling those little cuties. Also drinking a lot of orange juice, a huge glass in the mornings and at night... now I've heard the ol' wives tale that this means a baby girl... but I am still guessing boy. I would LOVE either one. Josh and Jake both want a boy, so I would be thrilled if this was another sweet baby boy. The thought of a girl is neat too though. I'm just blessed God has given me another chance to have a child. 

WOAH did I mention that little baby bump has popped out way faster too? haha! Could be the burritos, and enchiladas I've been eating every week :)

Last weekend Sarah and I used our "bestie" gift cards and had a girls day... so much fun and so much NEEDED (thank you everyone who voted)... I'm so thankful for her friendship over the last 14 years.. we have been through a lot together. She is like a sister to me and I thank God for putting her in my life. So glad we get to experience our second pregnancy together :)

Hope everyone has enjoyed the month of October! Boy, has it gone by fast! I'm not complaining though because it's getting closer to Christmas BREAK and this girl needs a BREAK from school LOL! I know I don't take a lot of classes but seriously I'm so sick of having homework every night :) I won't know what to do in the evenings... turn the TV on maybe?!?! HA! 

Speaking of Christmas, GEEZ it will be here before I can blink... and Thanksgiving... we already have plans set for that! :) This prego can't wait to stuff my face sooo full. I'll need to take some tupperware with me also LOL... I need leftovers fo' sho'! 

I guess I forgot to mention Halloween this Thurs... Jake is dressing up like a COP hahaha... he chose it... he wanted to be a fireman but seen the cop costume and had to have it. I can't wait for him to dress up! :)
