The start of a good summer!

Its is definitely summer now! Thank goodness for a few rains this week too. Our garden was thirsty! It's doubled in size just since the rain! woohoo! Love me some fresh veggies. 

We had a good Memorial weekend... swam and cookouts with friends and family! My favorite! Can't believe Payton turned the big 18! This week is also the rodeo... another all time favorite of mine and I'm so excited we got to take Jake this year. Last year was too hot for little man! He SOOOO loved it like we knew he would. He was in awe.. and had the serious face going. I will for sure be signing him up for some stuff when he turns 4! I can't wait! ha! 

We are headed back to the rodeo this weekend with friends... very excited. Tomorrow night me, mom and Payton are going to see Justin Moore... woohoo..  I hope I get to meet him... mom got us backstage passes haha! Loooove that guy and his songs...

Josh surprised me with a new camera bag yesterday! WOOHOO! 

It has so many compartments and places to hold everything. He told me the guy that sold it to him said that he liked this bag b/c it had places to put snacks... Josh said "oh, she will love that, I'll take it" HA! He knows me so well ;) 

I start my camera class next week with two friends of mine! I can't wait! I hope I can grasp it all! :)

(Random: His Nana just text me that he crawled out of his pack-n-play when she laid him down for a nap. I knew this day was coming and really... am surprised it hasn't come earlier haha! I hope he doesn't figure out the crib at home.. I am not ready for the toddler bed just yet!)

Overall a very good weekend... Saturday night graduation and then dinner (just me and Josh.. which was GREAT!)  Yesterday we went to church to hear Payton play the guitar and sing, she did awesome as always. Then a lazyyyy Sunday afternoon around my house. 

This is a short week for me... was supposed to be for Josh too - but he may be working now. We were offered a trip to FL with my mom and Russ and his kiddos.. so we may be going in July - which means Josh needs to save some vacation days. I'm wondering how a 12 hr trip will be with Jake in the car? I'm already stressed about it. 

Anywho - no plans for memorial weekend. I'm sure working around the house and then Sunday lunch in Altus for Payton's BIG 18TH b-day! Nanny's homemade enchiladas.. yummm-O! Can't wait!
