Da-Da, momma, crawling, pulling up! Jake is growing up fast!

So much has been going on I haven’t even posted a blog! I don’t know where to start….first of all, it has been raining so much that our creek flooded and we couldn’t get home last night! Plan B – stay with my momma! Poor Lola had the house to herself last night. I’m sure she is fine but it’s sad she was all alone. I know Jake missed her. He chases her through the house like crazy! He had her in a head lock the other day trying to bite her ear. They crack me UP! Speaking of Mr. Handsome Jake – he is getting SO big! He is crawling everywhere and FAST! He is also pulling up and standing up… he let’s go with one hand like he thinks he can walk or something and then crashes! Poor kid wants to take off! He will be walking early for sure. Josh and I both did, so I’m sure Jake will. He has been saying da-da forever now... and for the past few weeks has been saying "momma.. momma... momma" hahaha! I LOOOVE IT! The babysitter text me a last week and said "all he is saying is momma... all day long" ha! He crawls up to me and grabs my pant leg and says momma.. like "pick me up woman and feed me"!

We had a good Easter despite the nasty rain and mud. We went to church and Jake sat in the congregation and didn’t make one peep. He is seriously the best baby ever. He just sat there and played and was perfect! Then we ate Easter dinner at my mom’s. Jake got two Easter baskets full of new goodies! Balls, candy (for momma of course) and a new bible! His first bible! It’s so sweet. We had his name and birth date engraved on it.

Josh’s shop is finally done… well all but the door! That’s exciting! He is super pumped about it...I will post a pic below!

This week I am getting ready for my best friend Sarah’s shower! Her baby girl Miss Ruby Sloan Inman will be in here in June! Can’t WAIT! I hope her shower goes over well! I am expecting lots of people! She should get lots of goodies for Ruby!

I know I am missing some stuff on here and this is all so random..….I need to get back to work. OH- Jake is SUPPOSED to be on Channel 5 news in the morning. For “mug in the morning” with this photo…. Watch for him!...... here are more random pics too! Have a great week!
