We planned your birthday party for the week after your actual birthday. Kikki and PoPo were in the Bahamas, lucky them! In the meantime, you had a cold which turned into double ear infection. SO SAD. We went ahead and still had your party since we had already planned it and ordered cakes. It was a perfect sunny day for a pool party. When we got there, you started running fever and felt the worse you had felt yet. Poor guy :( My heart was broken. I know you won't remember you first birthday party but it was really for me haha! ;) At least you will have these pictures to look back on.

And here's what happened when we sang. BUT I accidently popped you in the nose with your party hat string. Sorry about that little guy. (your dad did the same thing later that day to you) ... then you tried to grab the flame on your candle and I grabbed your hand real fast which scared you and you screamed. You were done with it. lol funny now, but sad at the time. Maybe you will enjoy your second party :)
