*28 Weeks*

Today was our 28 week checkup... 7 MONTHS! Already? Wow, it's gone by fast! The next two months are going to fly by.... I go again in 3 weeks, then after that, every 2 weeks. That will really make time go by faster! Woohoo!!

Basically all he did today was listen to my little man's heartbeat. It sounded good and healthy. Dr said everything was A-OK! =) AND he said I could eat tuna! ha! I've been reading online where it is bad to eat tuna b/c of the mercury... he said thats silly and to eat it up! When I left he said "keep swimming and stretching, and ...enjoy your tuna!" LOL! That makes for one happy prego girl as I left!

Meanwhile, Amanda was in the room next to me... Dr M. told her she could be having Townsend in like 3 weeks! OMG! I can't wait! I was texting her while I was waiting on him to come in! haha!

Josh and I have been enjoying some FRESH garden veggies basically every single night. Thats about all we eat! Boiled new potatoes, boiled squash, salad, tomoatoes, eggplant, cucumbers, zuccini, etc! We could eat that and be fine with no meat! It's almost too hot to eat heavy anyway! OH and I can't forget the canalope and watertmaelon! Delish!!! YUM! I better get in there and start making dinner now!!

Well, how could I not mention the princess of the house, miss Lola. She has been super hilarious lately. I told Josh she knows that little baby is getting closer to being here. She sits with him a lot now instead of me. Everytime she lays across my lap/belly, the baby kicks her. HAHA! She turned and looked at my stomach one day! So funny! She just started nudging our hands a few weeks ago... like "hey don't stop petting me people" haha! She cries everytime I bring something home for the baby whether it be clothes, toys, books... she sits pretty waiting on me to give it to her! I have to say "NO Lola, its the babys" she always barks at me and runs off! Jealous? Yea! I think she is going to love her little brother more than anything though! haha! She will probably lick his face off!

*Summer has begun*

First of all, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! So glad I got to spend some time with my dad today and take him out to lunch, it was great! Happy Father's Day to my husband, even though the little man isn't here yet, he's already an amazing dad. =)

June has been a busy month and it's HOT outside folks!!! I suppose it's going to be busy from here until the baby arrives... and then life is changed forever! In a good way of course! So, for the past month we have been working around the house, a lot of outside chores that have needed to be done, fixing stuff that has needed mended for a long time, working on painting the nursery slowly but surely. It's all coming together. One day at a time! We have one more coat of paint to do in the baby's room and then Payton is coming up when she gets back from FL to do some wall murals and quotes in the room. She is so talented and it is going to be so neat and special for her to do the artistic stuff in the nursery. I can NOT wait to see it all put together! Last weekend I took a few classes at the hospital and was veryyyy happy I did! I learned a lot of good things to do! I always hear what everyone else has done but I wanted to hear it from the nurses. Of course, I won't always do what they say... as far as breast feeding. I know once my little guy gets here, my motherly instincts will kick in! I will know what's best for him! I got to hear a new and young peditrician come and talk to us. I really enjoyed him and liked what he had to say and loved his personality, he also does internal meds, so he could be me and Josh's family doctor too! We don't have a doctor now, so it all works out perfect! I think the Teff's may use him too, so that will be good!

Josh and I went to the "child birth education" class yesterday. This made my third class lol! I was a bit bored at this one, but we did get to take a tour, know what was going to happen and Josh got to see what all was going on. Having our first baby, YES, we are nervous. So this made both of us feel at ease about everything. We can go into this and enjoy it all now. =) Well, as much as possible! Nothing will take away my anxiety about the actual birth! ha! Josh says its all mental! I have two more months to get my mind right then! LOL! I ain't gonna lie, I'm scared! haha!

I also went and registered at Target and Toys-R-US. Christie and Madley went with me, thank goodness! I would have been lost on all the things I "need"! ha! We had a great time... geez, things sure have changed since Payton was a baby. I didn't know what half of that stuff was! I still have Blessed Baby and Wal Mart to register at before my first shower! Very exciting!

So I know I have talked about our chickens some, but let me touch base on them haha! We love having them (for now anyway)! Josh is very proud of them and has worked on the chicken coop alllll day long today! We have an incubator and have been hatching some eggs, it's so neat to watch. I was never around chickens when I was young but Josh was. I can't wait to have some fresh eggs and fresh chicken legs lol! (if I don't get too attached to them as a pet).

Angela had her baby boy this month too!, (Brock Taylor) He's a cutie! I got to spend some time with them last weekend and learned a few things haha. Amanda is next, she will be having her little boy, Townsend in July. CAN'T WAIT! It just makes it sooo much more exciting for the bean to get here too! He's going to have lots and lots of little huntin' buddies! =) YAY for boys!

Ok, so I think thats all.... I have my 28 week checkup this Wed! I can't believe it's already been 7 months! 2 more to go! wow!
