March-April

I was glad to see March .. ready for spring weather & my birthday. We've had warm and cold days - typical AR weather. My birthday rolled around and guess what?!?! MY KIDS GOT SICK. Every holiday I'm tellin ya. I'm trying to even think of what they had .. they are sick every month so I can't even remember. I thought it was HFM again.. but it ended up being a weird fever virus. Blah. BUT they were well for Easter, thank goodness.

I love the warm spring days we get to spend at the cabin & play in the creek!

So Jake invited a friend to come play ...

Will loves it there too. Eating pizza and playing dozers

Sunday afternoon at the sizzler :)

This is on my birthday, he was running fever but we still went to the cabin. His smile is so contagious!

My love...

A week later, Josh took me out for my birthday to StoneHouse .. delish! #33

Aren't they handsome in their little ballcaps?!

Easter! Hunting eggs in the cold wind...

ON TO APRIL .........

This is the first year for us in sports.. I wasn't really ready for that yet but my mom really wanted to sign Jake up for soccer this year. I agreed. Well - now I LOVE IT. :) It doesn't take up a lot of time though. Jake did rather well for his first game. What I mean by that is, I didn't think he would get out there and play in front of people. He did! And he scored a goal! BUT the other team scored a few and that's when the tears started. He cried and cried because he thought they were losing. :) Another reason we wanted him to play (to learn how to lose). He finally got back out there and played. Every practice he does better and better. Second game rolls around, he won't get out of the car. He was shaking and crying. I asked him if he was nervous and he said yes. I told him it was ok to be nervous and that every one feels that way. He didn't play the first quarter of the game. After the whistle blew for a break... I pushed him out on the field, as he was still crying. Once the whistle blew for the game to restart, that kid was ALL over the ball and running as fast as he could. He score 2 goals, one on the wrong end LOL, and was doing awesome. He didn't want to come back in and let another kid play. NOW we have to work on the "cocky" attitude. :/ We've been pumping his confidence up so much that now we have to tone it down HAHA! No matter what, I am proud of him.

First game :)

Soccer balls all in the house .. gosh I love these boys!

Daddy's birthday :) He had a good one!

Exactly a month later to the date - April 14th - back at the DR. Will has a bad cold virus and Jake's been having headaches. We have to get his eyes checked :(

These toddler years are hard when Will is in daycare, he stays sick. Jake wasn't that bad because he stayed home with me. I hope this is building Will's immunity up A LOT. Whatever Will brings home he gives to Jake. Lord help me! I need a lot of prayers for the remainder of the year. I don't have a lot of vacation days left!

Happy Friday!
