Weekend....

I haven't blogged since the shooting. There are no words to describe how I feel about it. I couldn't look at Facebook or the news Friday. It's unbearable and my heart aches so much for the victims' families. My prayers are with them especially during this time of year, it has to be so so hard for them. The whole gun issue is driving me insane too. I'm fixing to start packin' everywhere I go. 

Last week Jake and I stopped by to see little G.T. :) (Graham Teff). When we were leaving I told Jake to tell him bye. He said "ohh I want to pet him" .. so cute! I asked if he wanted one (a little baby) to bring home .. he wasn't real sure about that :) I'm not either...  not right now anyway. I did love me some baby G though!  What a sweetheart!!!!!!!!

One more work day and I am done this week. Josh is working late all week so he can have off Friday. Looking forward to this weekend... lots of family time!

***In the Christmas Spirit***

Christmas is in the air! Have I got my shopping done? Ummm no! ha! I took Jake with me the other day and I think I ended leaving town with two gifts, a mad 2 year old, and a bad headache! I'll be getting a sitter next time. He's usually pretty good but I had about 500 errands to run before we even went to the mall, he was over it! We've been just hanging out around the house and not doing much. Josh has been super busy at work though. :( After the first of the year he will be gone a lot. I will be busy with getting back in the groove of school, only two classes but I will probably be overwhelmed haha! I haven't been in 4 years and I didn't have a kiddo at the time either! lol!

I know, why does my kid still have a pacifier? We are transitioning from crib to big boy bed... maybe it's more of a comfort for me than him! :/ He gets up in the middle of the night and crawls in my bed... (something I said I would never ever let happen)... I've been working on it hard but some mornings (like in this pic) I just can't say no. 

He sure loves his bed though! He just wants me to lay in it with him haha! 

Friday night we went to the Alma Christmas parade... Jake was in his "serious" mode.. taking it all in... he loves his cousin Kate :) 

The fire truck was super loud and scared Jake. He kept saying he wanted to go in... (inside the police dept) ...

Hanging out with another cousin... Mr. Aiden! Jake never caught on to running out in the road catching the candy haha! Aiden was getting all the candy for us... sweet boys!

Jake is at the stage where he grabs your hand and makes you come in his room. He told me "sit down in my bed momma". He then starts telling me about the parade and how the firetruck was loud and that he wanted to go inside. All while being so serious. He cracks me up! 

I can not believe Christmas is in two weeks! I need to get busy! I always have such big plans of getting shopping done early and this year I haven't done anything haha! No wrapping or anything, it's going by too fast!
