I've been wanting to post a blog for a few weeks but haven’t!
We have all been battling sinus infections… and just been too busy to sit down
and post a blog. I seriously only get a chance while I am at work. Although; I
don’t have my pictures with me here so I am only downloading some from my phone.
Soooo we haven’t been up to much. We are slowly still
working on stuff around the house. Projects after projects. Poor Josh never
gets a break. I have to make him stop and not worry about it! Jake and I have
been playing, swimming, cooking, taking pictures, etc. He’s just been loving summer time. From
my previous posts about him and his favorite things – “dump trucks” … Josh and
I decided a while back we would have a dump truck birthday party. He is going
to love it. It’s all he talks about. When we pass them on the road or if he sees
them at a construction site, he is yelling “dump tuck”. Mom and Russell have
been having a lot of work done around the house so he has been getting to see
lots of dump “tucks” and do-do’s (dozers). He is amazed by them or any sort of big truck
or as Jake would say “big’o tuck”. He keeps us laughing! Here is an example below... I've been saving stuff to emails for a couple of months:

We’ve been to some birthday parties this summer and Jake has
had a blast seeing his friends and playing. Anytime he sees a cake he says “happy…cake”.
He can’t really say birthday yet… but he tries.
Father’s Day was so wonderful. Jake woke Josh up with a big
smile and said “happy daddy’s day”…melt my heart! We spent the morning at
church listening to my dad preach… it was an AWESOME sermon. I haven’t heard
him preach in a long time since he isn’t doing it full time anymore... and boy,
did I need to hear it! It took all I had not to cry during the service. Wow! After church, we ate lunch at my dad’s house
then went home and napped. Pretty good day! I don't have any Father's Day pics b/c they are all on my camera at home.

Singing.... his NEWEST favorite thing to do. I love love love hearing him sing. We sing in the car, at home, anywhere he wants to sing. Precious!
Another one of our favorite places to go - Lake Fort Smith kiddie pool. There ain't nothin' wrong with a little pee water.. builds up immunities! :) He loves it that he can walk in the pool without me having to hold him. It has actually helped him and he is fearless of the water now. He jumps off the sides at my aunt's pool and I have to watch him close b/c he will jump straight off the diving board! My little sweet fishy!
