Party Animals

Ruby's 2nd birthday party was this weekend! We are partyin' like crazy! :) Lots and lots of fun. Jake asked me yesterday .. "whose birthday is next?" haha! I asked him what kind of party HE wants for his upcoming birthday .. he said "chocolate" LOL! I think he thought I was talking about a cake ?? Hilarious kid.

Papa, Mimi, and Shae-Shae came over Thursday night to play with Jake while I did homework. They bought Jake a little life-jacket... he's ready for the lake now :)

Hello big boy and big boy UNDIES! He's been doing soooo good potty training. Still have a ways to go... but we are getting there.. faster than I thought, really. So I'm very excited! :) I despiiiiiiiiise buying diapers!

This is my last real stressful week of homework. So glad. Next week I have a final and then I'll just have one class to focus on the rest of the summer. WHEW! I was hoping to get to drive down to my dad's camp site this week but I doubt we get to... :( Some good news though - I found out I got some grants and a scholarship (that I worked hard on) ... so I'm very excited about having the rest of my school paid for! Such a relief! Thank you Lord! :) I keep telling myself I will be so thankful to have this done and accomplished! I am really liking my Leadership classes too. Glad I switched my degree!

Geez

I can't believe I left out date night and Father's Day in my last post. What kind of wife am I!? Lol I didn't even take pics on either day! :( Friday night Josh scheduled us massages and a fun night out. We tried out Fort Smith's newest joint "AJ's Oyster House" ... DELISH! Y'all gotta try it! I can't wait to go back! After dinner we went to Papa's our old time hang out :) had so much fun kicked back visiting with friends. 

So.. poor Josh on Fathers Day... I didn't let him relax... I was so busy cramming in last minute homework that was due Sunday that he was busy doing stuff around the house and tending to Jake. We left around lunch time to meet my dad at Chili's and ended up having a flat tire. Poor Josh is all I can say haha... But Jake made him some special cards and told him "happy Mother's Day dad" LOLOLOL! So hilarious. He still had Mother's Day on his mind I suppose :) 

I know I'm leaving more out!? But I can't think straight these days... Off to bed! Have a great week peeps! 

*Suuuummerrrrrrr Time*

I have not been keeping up with my blog lately because I've been SO BUSY. So over the past few weeks, I've learned a new computer system at work (STRESSFUL), started summer classes (even more STRESSFUL), and still trying to fit in some summer fun. I haven't been this stressed out in a long time... made myself sick! HA! I've calmed down a little though ;) 

So Angela and I went to see Luke Bryan on "Thunder on the Mountain" - it was a BLAST. I was a little worried from the experience I had at the Zac Brown concert - AWFUL! Buuut this way 110% better and just all around a  great time. We camped and ate and had a fun "mom's night out".

June has been pretty awesome so far with the weather the way it is. It's rained and kept the creek flowing and it's been warm enough to play in it. So that's what we have done....

Memorial Weekend :)

I worked 3 days last week in the middle of the week and had off Friday-Monday. Josh took off Friday too. I was excited to have 4 days home with my little family. We had lots of fun invites to go floating, to the lake, camping, etc. but we just decided to stay home and do some things around there. Jake was with us 24/7 and he stayed up til 11pm+ every night! He had a blast. 

I won't bore everyone with every detail of my weekend... but here are some cute pictures to share....

A little bit of everything...

This blog will be all over the place... I needed to get some pics off my phone and on here before I deleted them. 

The past couple of weekends have been awesome. Josh went back to Kansas and killed another bird. I was jealous. ha! No, I was happy for him. While he was gone I went to Old Timers Day with some of my friends and our kids. I haven't been since I had Jake, I had fun with the girls but the actual craft fair was not too great in my opinion. 

I went out to eat with some friends that night at Fuji and got a text from Josh and it was a picture of him and Jake. He had come home to surprise me! YAY! I was thinking he would be gone for Mother's Day but he hauled butt back home! So happy he was there.

This week we are training at work... going to be long and boring. So looking forward to the 4 day weekend though! 

I start school back in 2 weeks. Nervous about summer classes - they are fast and furious. I will be working more too, so it will be busier than normal for us.
